About Us
Who We Are
We know our stuff &
love what we do
We run two Methanol drag bikes and a 3rd on the way. We’re at the forefront of minibike racing and plan to stay here for a while. How much power can we make?
How’d we get here?
At one time, SRS was under a different name and only services lawnmowers and the like. Then COVID happened. Like clockwork, 2 weeks go by and kids at home pull out minibikes and go-karts out of their garages – parents wanted them OUT of the house.
Next thing I know, due to the kids’ performance demands, I started repairing and modifying the minibikes. As a racer myself, I was hooked!
SRS was built on a passion for engines and racing, and it’s our passion that’ll lead YOU to greatness!
We Prioritize Minibike and Go-Kart Safety

Owner & Mechanic
I’ve been a mechanic for more than 40 years, starting with taking apart the family mower at a young age to see how it worked. I was a motorcycle mechanic on Harleys and Others in my teen years and then joined the Air Force and for 4 years was an Internal fuel system mechanic on the F-16 fighter jet. After service I actively worked as a mechanic on many different types of engines, but always loved the single and twin cyl. pushrod motors and extracting as much power out of them as possible

Race Winner
As of writing this, it’s a big bore / stroker smallblock Tillotson running Torco methanol plus fuel through a Lectron carb and a pressurized tunable wet system Nitrous setup designed by SRS specially for small displacement engines. On the Gapplesause we push the limits. In the 1/4 mile the speed is in excess of 100mph-which is why we only run the 660 feet 1/8 mile now. The speed in the 1/8 mile and horsepower ratings are secret..and always changing. At the current time – nobody wants to race this bike, as its never lost yet. looking forward to racing it again this season.

Head of Security
An 8 year old rescue from the Apache Junction pound. Mike and his wife have had her about 5 years and she is daddy’s little girl; she gets spoiled rotten and as you can see by the pic, she has attitude. She comes to work now and then and loves to meet everybody.

Winning Bike
Gapplesauces younger, but just as powerful, brother. Has a 70mm Predator engine with an SRS welded and ported big valve head, and a few extra tricks kept secret. This bike runs Torco methanol plus also. This was Mike’s Grandsons winning bike until he had a major accident at over 70mph that put him in the hospital for 2 days and gave him some lifetime scars to remember it by. So now Mike and his son, Ross, jockey the bike, We’ll see how this year goes.
